Where Is The Project Located?

London Square Bermondsey is conveniently located near the heart of 4 minutes walk from Bermondsey High Street. It is a 12-minute walk to London Bridge station with onward travel to Bank in 1 minute and Canary Wharf in 6 minutes.

What is the Ground Rent?

The ground rent at London Square Bermondsey for 1 bedroom apartments is £400 per annum. 2-bedroom apartments will pay £450 per annum while 3-bedroom apartments will pay £500 per annum.

What is the payment schedule like?

Once you have decided on a unit, you will have to pay £2500 as a reservation fee and submit your required documents to the solicitors. 10% of the purchase price will be payable (via the solicitors) upon contract exchange within 21 days of reservation. A further 10% stage payment payable 12 months from exchange of contract (when applicable). The remaining 80/90% payment will be payable upon notice of completion given by the developer.

When is London Square Bermondsey completing?

Apartments in The Crosse building will complete in March 2021. Apartments in The Pickle Factory complete in Q1 2022.

What are the service charges?

Services charges range from £3.68 – £4.99 per sqft per annum.

Will I receive any warranty for this new property?

Yes, you can have a peace of mind when you purchase a property in this new development. Every apartment comes with a new 10 year Premier or equivalent warranty.

Help to Buy Available

Help to Buy is available on Orchid Court apartments allowing you to buy an apartment with a deposit of just £15,000.

With a Help to Buy: Equity Loan the government lends you up to 20% (40% if you’re in London) of the cost of your newly built home.

You pay a deposit of 5% or more and arrange a mortgage of 25% or more to make up the rest.

You won’t be charged interest on the 20% loan for the first five years of owning your home.

A new Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme open to first-time buyers only will be available for two-years from 1 April 2021. The Help to Buy scheme will end on 31 March 2023.
